Learning Objectives:

  • Students understand to call 9-1-1 if there is an emergency
  • Students can say what is wrong when there is an emergency
  • Students know how to call 911 and have a conversation with the emergency dispatcher.
  • Students can respond to “what is your emergency”?

Vocabulary:

  • What do you do if there is an emergency?
    Call 9-1-1
  • Help me! / I need help!
  • What is wrong? Or What is the emergency?
  • 911, what is your emergency?
  • I don’t speak English, I speak Spanish
  • Heart attack
  • Fire
